Easy DIY Hair Conditioner
SHEA BUTTER & COCONUT HAIR CONDITIONER
Making your own Hair Conditioner is easy and also keeps you away from the toxic chemicals you find in many commercial brands. You also have the satisfaction of having made it yourself, caring for you and your environment.
I love this Conditioner. It is perfect to use in the shower as a normal conditioner or applied as a leave in conditioner on damp hair.
It has a creamy base of Shea Butter with Coconut Oil which helps to restore your hairs natural protein.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant to repair hair follicles and encourages hair growth.
Lavender Oil is Antimicrobial which helps with an itchy scalp and inflammation. Lavender also has a calming effect and smells divine.
Rosemary Essential Oil helps to prevent premature graying, dandruff and hair loss. Rosemary also helps to encourage hair growth by strengthening circulation.
What you need....
1 Cup of Shea Butter
2 Tblspns of Coconut Oil
1/2 Tspn of Vitamin E Oil
5 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
5 Drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
What you do....
* Warm the Shea Butter and Coconut Oil in a saucepan over a saucepan of water (the same way you would melt chocolate) just enough to melt and remove immediately from the heat.
* Mix in the rest of the ingredients.
* Allow your mixture to cool then whisk it up until you get a creamy texture.
* Store your Conditioner in a Glass Jar with a sealable lid.
Use this Conditioner after Shampooing working from root to tip. Comb through and rinse thoroughly. You can also use a Small Amount on damp hair as a Leave In Conditioner.
